Caterham AeroSeven Concept
Caterham Cars has announced their Caterham AeroSeven Concept at the 2013 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix – a performance concept road car that reflects the brand's future product engineering and styling direction. The first model designed with input from all of the Caterham Group's specialist business arms, it will be the first ever Caterham to be fitted with traction control.
The AeroSeven Concept is based on the Seven CSR platform, featuring a carbon-fibre body that can reach speeds of 100km/h (62.5mph) in under 4 seconds and draw its power from the EU6-approved, 240ps (237bhp) Caterham Technology & Innovation engine. It also comes with a variety of race car-inspired features, such as an exclusive steering wheel, aerodynamic styling, as well as a fully active Graphical Display Unit (GDU).
Thanks to the newly developed Caterham Engine Management System, drivers will be able to enjoy adjustable traction and launch control functionality, making the AeroSeven Concept not just a glimpse into the future of Caterham, but an exciting driving experience as well.
