Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept 2010 posters

Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept

First impressions of the Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept are strong, as it features a European-inspired hot hatch look designed to appeal to young enthusiasts and hint at the next-generation Chevrolet Aveo. Its electric Boracay Blue finish has global Chevrolet design cues such as the dual element grille, round taillamps and fender flares. The front also has prominent low openings and a lower mouth trimmed in a combination of brushed and polished aluminum, with integrated outboard fog lamps. The model is also longer, wider and more spacious than the current production Aveo, showcasing upscale-looking design cues both inside and out. Exposed headlamps offer a unique touch, with their brushed aluminum structural surround. The sleek side profile is characterized by uninterrupted body side lines, a high beltline and low roofline. The side mirrors have amber-colored turn signal indicators and carry the same shape as the car, seemingly blending in to its profile. From the rear, it actually looks like a three-door hatch due to the discreetly located rear door handles in the "C"-pillar area. Jim Campbell, Chevrolet general manager, said, "We hope the Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept will demonstrate that we are as serious about redefining the Aveo and its place in the small-car segment as we were about reinventing the Malibu."
