Chevrolet Aveo5
Chevrolet showcased the 2009 Aveo5 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, delivering extraordinary fuel efficiency estimated to be 26 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway when equipped with the five-speed manual transmission. Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager stated that with an affordable price tag, the new Aveo5 proves that there are sensible fuel solutions for the economy. It is anticipated to be the most economical car when it is up for sale in 2008.
The redesigned Aveo5 is loaded with features usually seen in more expensive cars such as OnStar and XM Satellite Radio. It is powered by a 1.6L DOHC engine with variable valve timing, offering 107 hp and a torque of 106-lb.-ft. Additionally, it has been quietly tuned for optimal performance.
