Chevrolet Blazer

The Chevrolet Blazer (4WD model T-10) and similar GMC S-15 Jimmy (4WD model T-15) were both mid-size SUVs introduced by General Motors in 1983. The S-series SUV was related to the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC S-15 pickup trucks. Production of the Blazer and Jimmy stopped in 2005. In the United States, retail sales of the two-door Blazer models ended in 2001, while the other models could only be purchased by fleet owners. In Canada, the two-door Jimmy was available in retail until 2001. The S-series SUVs were created in Moraine, Ohio, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. In Brazil, new Blazers have their own sheetmetal stampings and are based on the second-generation S-series. Even though production ceased in the US, local production of these vehicles continues in Brazil.
