Chevrolet Blazer 2001 posters

Chevrolet Blazer

The all-new Chevrolet Blazer was introduced in 1995, replacing the S-10 prefix with simpler identification. Widely recognised as Playboy magazine's Truck of the Year 1995, it also took out the Motor Trend 1995 Truck of the Year. The Blazer was upgraded to a mid-sized SUV, featuring an increased external and internal size, alongside a driver airbag, plenty of storage spaces and rounded styling. Its V6 engine was the only one available, and it was offered with either a manual or electronic four-wheel drive transfer case. In 1998, the model received some exterior and interior changes, such as a redesigned dashboard with larger buttons, more ergonomic driving controls, bigger door handles, rear bench headrests and a new grille inspired by the Chevrolet C/K pickup. Additionally, four-wheel disc brakes with aluminum dual-piston calipers became standard equipment. The next year, it was fitted with new folding mirrors, while 2000 saw the addition of new front bumpers. For the 2001 model year, the Blazer received a centre console and the side and bumper trim was removed.
