Chevrolet Camaro COPO Convertible
The last 2012 COPO Camaro debuted to much fanfare at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Now, it's set to hit the auction block at the 2013 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction with the proceeds going to benefit the American Heart Association. With a few unique factors, this supercharged drop-top should draw considerable attention from bidders.
It's one of only 69 COPO Camaros built by Chevrolet for 2012, and car number 69 of the sequenced production matched to its engine. Moreover, it is one of only two convertibles built; the other being car number 68 which has been set aside by Chevrolet and isn't planned for public sale. This COPO Camaro also features an exclusive 327 engine along with a 4.0L supercharger, and is the only example painted in Inferno Orange Metallic with custom graphics and special interior trim. It has also been fitted with a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission, making it the only '12 COPO Camaro to have it. The top is fully operational, but per NHRA rules, it must be up when racing.

It will make a great race car or collector vehicle for a lucky bidder, who will be buying a piece of history."
