Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible Indy 500 Pace Car
The 2011 Camaro Convertible is specifically designed to lead the field of drivers in the upcoming Indianapolis 500 and is an iconic representation of Chevrolet's centennial year celebration. Not only will it be the 22nd Chevrolet to lead the race, but it is also the seventh Camaro to bear the prestigious role as “The Greatest Spectacle In Racing®” official pace car.
This unique edition shows off an exclusive Summit White exterior and eye-catching orange stripes and door graphics. The interior is decorated with luxurious orange leather front seat headrests with the Indy 500 logo, completing the special edition look along with white door panels and instrument panel trim. To top it off, the instrument panel features extensions of the exterior stripes.
The Chevrolet brand and Indianapolis Motor Speedway are pleased to auction off the first of only 50 Indianapolis 500 Festival Committee cars in order to give back to the community. All proceeds will be going to the David Foster Foundation, a charity devoted to helping families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants.
