Chevrolet recently unveiled the U.S. production version of the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan at the 2009 L.A. Auto Show. This global car has been tailored for the American market, offering a range of segment-leading features and redefining what a compact car can be in North America.
The Cruze also showcases Chevrolet's commitment to producing highly efficient, well-designed vehicles, with new, small-displacement four-cylinder engines. It is expected to deliver an impressive fuel economy, including up to 40 mpg on the highway with a high-efficiency model.
Brent Dewar, GM Vice President for the Chevrolet Global brand, shared the following remarks: "The Cruze is already quite popular in Europe and Asia; and now, it's coming to America to challenge the status quo. Along with the Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle, the Cruze is the latest example of how Chevrolet is innovating products that range from gas-safe to gas-free."
