Chevrolet Equinox
The all-new 2010 Chevrolet Equinox is a compact crossover that exudes style and offers exceptional fuel-efficiency. The all-new Chevrolet Equinox comes with a 2.4L direct injection engine that gives it an EPA-pending best-in-segment estimated highway fuel economy of 30 mpg, a 25-percent improvement from the previous model. Nearly two-thirds of customers are expected to opt for the fuel-efficient 2.4L engine. It has an attractive design inspired by the Chevrolet Malibu sedan and Traverse crossover, with attention to detail and unexpected features.
The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox goes on sale in mid-2009 and is available in LS, LT, and LTZ trims, complete with a four-wheel-drive option. Along with the efficient direct injection and variable valve timing technology, the Equinox is equipped with two new engines; an efficient 182 horsepower 2.4L Ecotec engine and a 255 horsepower 3.0L DOHC engine.
Some other features include a driving range of more than 500 miles with both engines, 6 standard air bags, 4-wheel disc brakes, StabiliTrak electronic stability control and traction control, OnStar and XM Satellite Radio, and a "Smart" remote starting system.

The new Chevrolet Equinox is making its world debut at the North American Auto Show in Detroit next month.
