Chevrolet Groove Concept 2007 posters

Chevrolet Groove Concept

The Chevrolet Groove concept takes inspiration from a "half-soldier, half-modern" military helmet and fuses classic Chevrolet heritage design cues, such as an upright windshield and prominent fender flares, yielding a strong, sturdy stance and a retro hot rod vibe. Jawook Koo, the lead exterior designer from the GM Design Center in Inchon, South Korea, aimed to create a mini design that was big on presence and thus imbued the Groove with anything but weakness. Crafted with a matte Lunar Quartz exterior finish and strategically placed satin silver chrome details, the five-spoke 17-inch wheels pushed all the way to the rear make the vehicle appear longer than it really is, due to the short-but-pronounced hood and long, flat cabin, providing roomy interior space. Contrasting Vertigo brake calipers further accentuate the big wheels. Front open-air vents integrated into front LED fog lamps and elongated headlamps add to the Groove's appearance. This front-wheel-drive concept is powered by a highly efficient, 1-liter diesel engine.
