Hybrid models excluded, all Chevrolet Silverado 1500s now include Trailer Sway Control and Hill Start Assist as part of the advanced StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, optimizing performance for cooling and towing. According to Maria Rohrer, Chevrolet Truck marketing director, "Silverado's dependable V-8 performance, highly competitive fuel economy, and broad range of models continue to have a strong appeal to truck customers, and Silverado sales were up 7 percent through July of this year.” The changes for 2012 trend Silverado toward rugged and capable design with an updated look, navigation radio, and Wi-Fi for convenience and satisfaction.
