Chevrolet Sonic Sedan
The Chevrolet Sonic is a stylish four-door sedan that is showcased as the all-new 2012 model at the 2011 North American International Auto Show. It offers a turbocharged performance with agile ride and handling, making it an efficient, fun-to-drive vehicle. The Sonic also comes in a sporty five-door edition. It then packs class-leading rear-seat roominess and cargo space, in addition to various connectivity features inside.

"By combining progressive styling, exciting performance, and the latest connection features, we have created a powerful competitor with an exciting personality."
General Motors' Orion Assembly Center in Michigan is where production of the Chevrolet Sonic begins later in 2011. This hometown assembly center received a $545-million investment to upgrade and retool, leading to the creation of approximately 1,000 jobs in the metropolitan Detroit area.
"Chevrolet is the only automaker manufacturing a small car in the United States," said Perry. "We think the Sonic will cut through the segment competition, offering a dynamic styling, max performance, and tremendous value that will redefine what a small car looks like and can do in the USA."
