Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept

The second concept car presented by Chevrolet at the 2012 North American International Auto Show was the Tru 140S. This concept was also designed with younger car buyers in mind, and Chevrolet invited young consumers across the United States to give their opinions and feedback to help shape the design. The end product is a four-seat sport coupe crafted with the idea of making aspirational attainability accessible to all generations. Painted in silver with heritage-inspired performance-style wheels, the Tru 140S also draws its inspiration from Chevrolet's performance heritage. According to U.S. Census data, a potential car-buying public of 80 million Americans aged under 30 represents a combined $1 trillion in purchasing power. General Motors North America President Mark Reuss commented: "These two concepts interpret that vision for a new generation. We're seeking out our newest customers' opinions, listening to their advice, and engaging them in new ways."
