Chrysler 300C Touring

The Chrysler 300C has arrived as a full-size sport and luxury vehicle, first showcased as a concept car at the 2003 New York Auto Show and officially released as an early 2005 model. Crafted by designer Ralph Gilles, this car has been presented to compete with other vehicles such as the Buick LaCrosse and the Mercury Montego, offering luxurious features at an accessible price. It is available in both sedan and station wagon versions, with the wagon design being sold in Europe as the 300 Touring. The five versions of the Chrysler 300C include the basic version, the "Touring" option, a luxurious "Limited" model, the high-end 300C, and the powerful SRT-8 version. The lowest-spec basic model offers 17-inch alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, traction control, and a four-speed automatic transmission with a 2.7 L LH V6 engine, making 190 hp (142 kW). Moving up to the Touring model, you can expect a 3.5 L V6 engine that yields 250 hp (186 kW) and 250 ft.lbf (339 N·m) of torque with a 4-speed automatic transmission, as well as added luxury features like foglamps and yaw control. The top-tier 300C version utilizes a 5.7 L Hemi V8 engine with the capacity to switch between four and eight cylinders, depending on the power needed. This provides greater fuel efficiency as rated by the EPA as 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. When running on all eight cylinders, the 300C can generate 340 hp (254 kW) and 390 ft·lbf (529 N·m) torque.
