Chrysler 300C SRT8

The Chrysler 300 is a full-size sport/luxury sedan and wagon that was first debuted at the 2003 New York Auto Show as a concept car and released in the spring of 2004 as an early 2005 model. Designed by Ralph Gilles, this vehicle is rear-wheel drive and provides luxury at a lower price compared to its competitors such as the Buick LaCrosse and the Mercury Montego. The 300 also comes in a station wagon version, the 300 Touring, offering the same quality body pieces of the Dodge Magnum but with higher-end styling and interior fitment. The 300 comes in five different trim levels: the basic 300, the Touring version, the luxurious Limited model, the top-of-the-line 300C, and the performance-focused SRT-8. The basic 300 has 17 in (432 mm) alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, traction control, and a four-speed automatic transmission, as well as a 2.7 L LH V6 producing 190 hp (142 kW). The Touring model has a stronger 3.5 L V6 that outputs 250 hp (186 kW) and 250 ft.lbf (339 N·m) of torque; it also features foglamps, yaw control, and other luxury appointments. Lastly, the 300C trim level has a 5.7 L Hemi V8 that can run on four cylinders when less power is needed, leading to better fuel economy. It is rated by the EPA at 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, and when all eight cylinders are engaged it can generate up to 340 hp (254 kW) and 390 ft·lbf (529 N·m) torque.
