Chrysler Sebring [UK]
The sophisticated Chrysler Sebring is based on the 2003 Chrysler Airflite concept car. Peter Lambert, Managing Director for the Chrysler Group UK, stated: "The Sebring is Chrysler's first midsize family car offering. It boasts an attractive design with high safety and reliability levels, impressive performance, great fuel efficiency, and a price tag that is around 10 percent lower than the competing models."
The front-wheel-drive Sebring will be released in the UK in June, and is available from £17,995. The new Chrysler is provided with two petrol and one diesel engine, all in the Limited model.
The 2.0-litre petrol-powered engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox delivers 154 bhp and 140 lb.-ft. of torque, and possesses a competitive fuel economy of 36.2 mpg. The 2.4-litre petrol engine is able to produce 167 bhp and 162 lb.-ft. of torque, and features an automatic gearbox. For those seeking more efficiency, the 2.0-litre diesel version offers excellent fuel economy of 45.6 mpg, with 138 bhp and 229 lb.-ft. of torque from just 1750 rpm, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
