Citroen C-Metisse Concept

The Citroën C-Métisse concept car promises to be an exceptional combination of style, power, and green technologies with its upcoming debut later this month at the Paris Motor Show. Showcasing the concept of a high-performance car with an impressive fuel economy, it can reach a top speed of 155mph and get up to 45 miles per gallon on the combined cycle. Not only does the C-Métisse have an alluring exterior, but it also offers plenty of technological innovations. It has an HDi V6 diesel engine combined with a Diesel Particulate Filter System, as well as two separate electric motors on the rear wheels. These electric motors contribute up to 400Nm of additional torque, and the car can also run in Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mode. Measuring 4.74 metres long and 2 metres wide, this four-seater grand-tourer is surprisingly low at 1.24 metres in height. Further enhancing its visual appeal, the C-Métisse has unique alloy wheels with central wheel nuts, and spectacular gull-wing front and rear doors for exceptional access in spite of its low height. The car's long bonnet and virtually non-existent rear overhang also pay homage to its Citroën lineage.
