The all-new Citroen C4 Sedan will be available on certain European markets in the fourth quarter of 2007. Featuring a longer wheelbase, this four-door saloon offers more space and comfort to its passengers while still being stylish. At 4.77 meters in length and 1.77 meters in width, the car ensures that long journeys are an enjoyable experience. Thanks to its suspension setup, it delivers a smooth ride even on bumpy roads. The distinctive fixed-hub steering wheel with integrated controls adds to the modern feel of the interior as well as providing plenty of ergonomic storage compartments.
The new C4 Sedan is available with two engine options - one petrol and one diesel - both of which are compatible with the Euro IV standard and are outfitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Cruise control comes as standard and can be used to maintain speed and/or limit the maximum speed of the car. Extra features such as xenon headlights, parking assist and automatic wipers are offered in select equipment trims.
In terms of safety, the Citroen C4 Sedan is equipped with the same features as the C4 range, which has already been awarded a 5-star rating by EuroNCAP. Additionally, the car has an innovative "shaped" driver airbag, as well as front driver and passenger airbags and side curtains airbags in some countries.
