Citroen DS4 Racing Concept
Since its launch, Citroën has sold over 180,000 DS line models globally. And the story continues at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with the Citroën DS4 Racing Concept. This creative collaboration between Citroën Racing and the styling team has given the DS4 the image of the Brand's racing department.
The DS4 Racing Concept features attractive "100% Racing" attributes, such as a lowered chassis by 35mm and widened track by 55mm and 75mm at the front and back respectively. It also has an air diffuser, a front bumper panel, and a lower-body belt line and wing extensions. Citroën Racing has upgraded its 1.6-litre turbo engine to produce 256bhp and 160bhp per litre, a record for a series-production vehicle. But the most impressive part of this car is its controlled CO2 emissions of 155g/km.
The performance has been further enhanced with specially redeveloped running gear, as well as Santalum Grey matte-textured reflections paint. This is a first in the automotive sector. The two-tone roof, and 19-inch two-tone wheel rims designed for the car add more character and style to the exterior. Moreover, four-pot, fixed calliper brakes with 380mm diameter discs also improve the performance and dynamics.
