Citroën has unveiled the breathtaking new Citroën Metropolis Concept in tribute to China's continual growth. Produced by Citroën's international design team located in Shanghai since 2008, and exhibited in the French Pavilion at the Shanghai World Fair, this sleek and muscular limousine concept is a reflection of China's impressive stature, grandiose, and vigor.
Combining the latest advancements in 'Créative Technologie' and environment-friendly technology, Citroën Metropolis boasts a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and Hydractive suspension which emits a mere 70g/km of CO2, an approximate fifth of the usual engine with similar performance. Measuring 5.3m long, 2m wide, and 1.4m tall, Citroën Metropolis is the ultimate visual of prestigious luxury, with its signature 'Pearl Silk' body colour that changes depending on the light, emphasizing the generous curves and fine detailing. Peer at the front of the car and you can't miss the captivating kite-shaped grille, sculpted incisive wings, and the ambitious headlamps.
