Renewal of the Dacia commercial vehicle range
The introduction of Logan Van both freshens up Dacia's commercial vehicle lineup in Romania and also expands the range internationally. Logan Van is set to go on sale in Romania and Bulgaria in February of 2007, with other markets following at the end of the year. It will be targeted at small business owners, tradesmen, traders, small and medium-sized fleets who are looking for an economical option. Dacia's factory in Pitesti, Romania produces the Logan Saloon and Logan MCV models. Logan Van has a maximum production of 200 vehicles per day. This model was derived from Logan MCV, allowing for the creation of a cost-effective product. For the development and manufacturing of Logan Van and Logan MCV, €110 million was invested, with an overall total of €154 million. This model integrates the expertise of the Renault Group in the realm of commercial vehicles, as well as the best of what the X90 Programme provides.
