The all-new 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 brings back the iconic muscle car, delivering classic performance, unmistakable design, advanced features, and modern amenities. Developed by Chrysler's in-house SRT engineering organization, the Challenger boasts 425 horsepower from its 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 engine, along with the five pillars of SRT: Bold exterior design, a race-inspired interior, superior ride and handling, exceptional powertrain, and benchmark braking. With a limited edition of just three colors - HEMI® Orange, Bright Silver Metallic, and Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat - each Challenger SRT8 will feature numbered dash plaque and carbon fiberlike hood stripes, as well as a U.S. MSRP of $37,995 (including $675 destination). Performance stats for the Challenger SRT8 consist of 0-60 mph time in the low 5-second range, 0-100-0 mph in under 17 seconds, ¼-mile time of less than 14 seconds, 60-0 mph braking distance of 100 feet, and a skid pad performance of 0.88 g. Manufactured at Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario, Canada assembly plant, the Challenger SRT8 will arrive in Dodge showrooms this spring.
