Dodge Charger SXT
The Dodge Charger, currently made by the DaimlerChrysler corporation for the North American Dodge brand, is a rear-wheel drive full-size automobile. It is the latest in a long line of Dodge Charger models, and has replaced the Dodge Intrepid. It is a four-door sedan with interior components similar to the Dodge Magnum. The Charger SE and SXT, priced at $22,995 USD, are equipped with Chrysler's 3.5L V6 engine that produces 250 hp (186 kW) and 250 ft·lbf (339 N·m) of torque (noting that there is also a 2.7L available for fleet sales only, which produces 190 hp and 190 ft·lbf of torque). The R/T version, although priced at $29,995 USD, claims the 5.7L Hemi V8 engine with 340 hp (254 kW) and 390 ft·lbf (475 N·m) of torque. The most costly model, the SRT-8, has a base price of $35,320 USD and features a 6.1L Hemi V8 producing 425 hp (317 kW) and 420 ft·lbf (569 N·m) of torque. The 2006 Charger Daytona R/T debuts a High Output 350hp (261 kW) version of the 5.7 L Hemi as well as an updated suspension and tires with a special front fascia and chin spoiler. For a retro touch it is available in two colors, "Go ManGo!" metallic orange and Top Banana yellow. There is also a Super Bee version for the 2007 model year featuring the SRT-8's 425 hp (317 kW) 6.1 L Hemi engine and special "Detonator Yellow" paint with black decals. In addition, Jada Toys has released a DUB version of the Charger for mid 2006.
