Dodge Grand Caravan ES 2001 posters

Dodge Grand Caravan ES

Making its debut at the 2000 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the redesigned 2001 Dodge Caravan and 2001 Chrysler Town&Country rolled off the assembly line at the Windsor Plant on July 24, 2000. Design work was done by Brandon Faurote and perfected over the course of 1995 to 1999. It was constructed using the Chrysler RS platform, with modified headlights and taillights, as well as a larger body frame. Power sliding doors and a power hatch were available options, while low emissions engine gave drivers more power thanks to a more powerful 3.8L based on the 3.3L. All Wheel Drive and other innovative features such as remote operated sliding doors and rear hatch were made available. For the 2002 model year, "DODGE" badges on the front doors were removed from the Grand Caravan ES model. Then in 2003, the Caravan C/V and Grand Caravan C/V returned with several features, such as optional rear seats, a plastic cargo floor, and an optional rear seat DVD system with single disc player.
