Dodge Ram 1500 2002 posters

Dodge Ram 1500

The third-generation of the Dodge Ram 1500 was unveiled in February 7, 2001 at the Chicago Auto Show. This update included a brand new frame, suspension, powertrains, interiors, and sheet metal, and the crew cab models featured conventional-opening rear doors. At the time of their release, these trucks saw massive success, with 400,000 being sold during 2001-2002 and nearly 450,000 sold during 2002-2003. In 2006, the Dodge Ram was given a face-lift. Along with the option of the Mega Cab, which featured a 6.25-foot cargo box and 22 inches of extra cab space, a full screen mapping in-dash navigation system and redesigned head lamps for better performance were added. Other options included Bluetooth U Connect, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones. 2006 was also the last year of the SRT model with the 8.3 L V10 engine from the Dodge Viper SRT/10.
