Dodge Ram Power Wagon
The third-generation Dodge Ram was launched in 2002, featuring an all-new frame, suspension, powertrain, interior, and sheet metal. The crew cab models introduced in this generation featured conventional-opening rear doors instead of the previous generation's. This redesign boosted Ram sales to a new high point of nearly 450,000 vehicles sold during 2002-2003.
In 2006, the Ram was given a facelift, including a "Mega Cab" with 6.25-foot cargo box and 22 extra inches of cab space. Optional features like Bluetooth U Connect, a full-screen in-dash navigation system, Sirius Satellite Radio, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system were added. The 8.3-liter V10 engine, previously seen in the Dodge Viper SRT/10, was discontinued after the 2006 model year.
