Dodge Ram SRT10 2004 posters

Dodge Ram SRT10

The third-generation Ram was introduced at the 2001 Chicago Auto Show, featuring an all-new frame, suspension, powertrains, interiors, and sheet metal. It proved to be quite popular with those in the market for a truck, with 400,000 sold during 2001-2002 and nearly 450,000 during 2002-2003, a record high for the Ram name. Ford and GM truck sales had also increased in the same time period, nearly reaching 900,000. In 2006, the Dodge Ram was updated with newly designed headlamps, the "Mega Cab", a 6.25-foot cargo box, in-dash mapping navigation systems, 22 inches of extra cab space allowing seating for six, Bluetooth U Connect, and a revised steering wheel design from the Dodge Dakota and Durango. SIRIUS Satellite Radio became available, as did a rear seat DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones. Sadly, the SRT model with the 8.3 L V10 engine from the Dodge Viper SRT/10 was discontinued after 2006, bringing an end to the exciting, power-filled experience of driving the Dodge Ram SRT10.
