Dodge Sling Shot Concept 2004 posters

Dodge Sling Shot Concept

The Dodge Slingshot (or Dodge Sling Shot) concept car was created by Dodge, a DaimlerChrysler subsidiary, and debuted at the 2004 New York International Auto Show. The goal was to create a car tailored towards younger generations. Powered by a rear-mounted, 3-cylinder, gasoline engine, the Slingshot produces 100 horsepower and can achieve 0-60 in ten seconds. It also has a five-speed manual transmission and 45 mpg fuel efficiency. Retro design elements such as a canvas roof panel provide a nod to the Chrysler Group's muscle car era of the 1960s and 1970s.
