Dodge Super8 Hemi Concept

The Dodge Super 8 Hemi was a concept car that was released by DaimlerChrysler under the Dodge brand name at the 2001 North American International Auto Show. Combining a classic design with modern SUV and truck elements, the Super 8 Hemi features a 5.7-liter V8 engine, the sameNASCAR-level engine used in Dodge vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s. With 353 horsepower and a 154 miles-per-hour top speed, the Super 8 Hemi has torque rated at 395 pound-feet and can go from zero to sixty in 5.7 seconds, with a four-speed automatic transmission featuring Autostick. Hot Wheels recently released a scaled-down version of the Super 8 Hemi in their 2005 Drop-Top series, though this one was designed with larger wheels and a chopped top, giving it a more cartoonish appearance. The Super 8 Hemi was also featured in the video game Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix.
