What has emerged is the edo Lamborghini Murcielago LP710/2, the world's fastest and most powerful version of the already impressive Lamborghini.
Power gains have been achieved through new exhaust headers, catalytic converters, mufflers, air filters and camshafts, as well as re-programmed engine controls making full use of the modified components. Further enhancements have been made to the vehicle's aerodynamics to bestow it with improved stability and a more dynamic visual appeal. This has been completed with the addition of a specially designed rear wing that is adjustable should the user wish to modify it.
Completing the package is a 19 inch light alloy wheel with high-performance Continental tires - 225/35 ZR 19 Continental V-max for the front and 325/30 ZR 19 Continental V-max for the rear. An edo competition-designed stainless steel exhaust system provides a great sound and optimizes the exhaust flow for even greater performance output. In addition, an optional remote-controlled butterfly valve can be fitted for a more aggressive sound and look.
For increased responsiveness and improved handling, edo competition has also developed a single disc clutch and reconfigured the 4-wheel drive system into a 2-wheel drive configuration, saving 40 kg (88 lb) in the process.
