Introduced at the Frankfurt International Motor Show two years ago, the Carrera GT was the star of the show. Today, Carrera GT owners have the chance to make this expensive and luxurious Porsche even more powerful and unique. edo competition Motorsport provides this level of performance by utilizing a modified intake system, utilizing re-calibrated engine controls, high flow air filters, new header catalytic converters and a stainless steel performance exhaust system with electronic programmable butterfly-valve control. In terms of sound, this system results in a deep and sonorous tone to accompany the increase of up to 770 HP from the original 612 HP.

Aerodynamics

The aerodynamic rear wing is made entirely of carbon fiber. The center part of the Gurney Flap is compatible with the development of a retractable rear wing to give more grip to the rear axle, plus the extra flaps on either side of the wing.

Suspension

The 3-way adjustable edo/KW Competition shock absorbers and sports suspension system are optimized for motorsports. Gas mono-tube shocks are adjustable for compression and rebound, and feature a remote oil reservoir. edo competition even provides an electro-hydraulic nose lift system as an optional item.

Wheels

For a maximum grip, edo competition supplies wheel and tire combinations that include 18" forged wheels equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires (265/35 18 at front, 345/30 18 at rear). The polished stainless steel outer rims and high-strength aluminum inner rims make these wheels aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
