The Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge was unveiled by Michael Schumacher on July 4th, 1999 at the Nürburgring Circuit. It was created for Ferrari customers who wanted to take their vehicles to the race track. In 2000, the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy began featuring the Ferrari F355 and 360, running in different classes. Production of the Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge began at Maranello at the end of 1999, with the first batch of cars exclusively available to Challenge drivers.
