Ferrari 458 Italia China 20th Anniversary
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Ferrari's first car arriving in China, the iconic marque is unveiling the special edition Ferrari 458 Italia exclusively for the China market. It will be presented at the inauguration ceremony of the first permanent Ferrari brand exhibition outside Maranello at the Italia Center in the Shanghai World Expo Park. This 900 square metre exhibition is set to run for three years and will showcase some of the best collections from the Maranello Museum, including areas on Ferrari in China, Green Technology, Product, Design and Racing.
Visitors who attend the inauguration ceremony will get a first-hand look at the special edition Ferrari 458 Italia, which features unique Chinese elements. The exterior of the car is finished in a new colour called Marco Polo Red and the gold and black livery stripes symbolize a racing track. The bonnet contains both a golden dragon and the iconic Ferrari prancing horse, each representing the power and pride of their respective cultures. The interior has gold embroidered head rests and the engine start button has the simplified Chinese characters for 'start'. Every car comes with a unique '20th Anniversary Special Edition' plaque on the dash.
To add to the immersive experience, visitors to the Ferrari Exhibition will also be able to watch images and videos made specifically for the event. The Ferrari 458 Italia has already been hailed with over 35 awards throughout the world and this special edition perfectly encapsulates the passion and spirit behind the iconic brand.
