Praised for the success of the recent conversion kits (one 500 Abarth in three using the official kit), Abarth has extended its range with the launch of the world debut of the esseesse kits for the new Fiat 500C Abarth and Fiat Punto Evo Abarth models at the 2010 Paris International Motor Show. These kits are made to upgrade performance, handling and safety without compromising on the vehicule's low emissions and fuel consumption.
At the stand, two esseesse cars show the Abarth tuning spirit, having substance and modest good looks: respecting the brand tradition and market requirements, Abarth cars have a mix of sporty yet exquisite looks, secure driving, and great performance levels. The Fiat Punto Evo Abarth esseesse presents a 180 HP engine, providing a torque of 270 Nm at 3000 rpm, reaching a top speed of 216 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. Similarly, the 500C esseesse kit turns the open-top cabriolet into an efficient sports car, with 160 HP, a maximum torque of 230 Nm, top speed of 209 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration done in just 7.6 seconds.
Fiat Punto Evo Abarth esseesse on show combines a Campovolo grey body with an Abarth brand in the body colour and 18" alloys with a special titanium-coloured esseesse design. The interior of the car is equipped with Abarth Corse by Sabelt leather black seats and a sporty design, plus an Abarth Blue&MeTM MAP satellite navigation system with telemetrics developed with Magneti Marelli.
The two-tone Fiat 500C Abarth esseesse is exhibited with a grey Campovolo and Pista livery with a white chromatic divider, combining the cabriolet's elegance and the esseesse performance. In addition, it has a Record Monza exhaust silencer (with dual mode and variable counterpressure), a satellite navigation system with telemetrics and an Abarth Blue&MeTM MAP.
Despite distinct, both models are unified by the sporty spirit of the Abarth scorpion logo that appeals to drivers with a passion for challenge, performance and Italian style. According to the advertisement motto “More power to your senses”, an Abarth car ignites all of the senses.
