The Fiat 1107 "Campagnola" is a light off-road vehicle that was produced by Italian automotive manufacturer Fiat in the last few decades. Starting in 1975, it was delivered to every Italian armed service in a variety of versions, ranging from standard and long wheelbase, as well as canvas and hard top. The Fiat Campagnola A used by the Distaccamento Aeroportuale di Ronchi dei Legionari has a standard wheelbase and hard top. It measures 3.775 meters long, 1.600 meters wide, and 1.945 meters high. A Fiat 4-cylinder gasoline engine powers the vehicle, developing 56 kW at 4600 rpm through a 4X4 transmission. The suspension is independent on all four wheels, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 110 km/h and scale 45° gradients. It also has a maximum fording depth of 0.700 meters. The Campagnola is frequently used as an incident command post, carrying loudspeakers and other command and control equipment.
