Fiat Idea 1.4 16v Emotion
The Fiat Idea is a mini MPV built by the Italian manufacturer Fiat since 2004. It is based on the Punto's frame and shares all its engines, taking advantage of its versatile interior, which includes sliding and folding rear seats, making the best possible usage of a body under 4 metres long. The Idea's tallness, along with its narrow width and tracks, gives it a high centre of gravity, however, this affects its handling in comparison to other models like the Opel Meriva and Renault Modus.
Engines
All available engines meet the Euro 4 standards. It has a 1.4 L 16 valve 95bhp petrol engine, available with either 5- or 6-speed gearboxes, and two 1.3 L 16 valve MultiJet diesel units, with 70 or 90 bhp. All of these engines have the option of a Dualogic robotised manual gearbox.
Lancia Musa
The Lancia Musa is a variant of the Fiat Idea, redesigned and sold by Lancia. Except for a few distinct features, such as the Lancia triangular chromed grille, it shares virtually every component of the Idea, including the more powerful engines and Dualogic gearbox.
