Fiat Idea
The Fiat Idea is a mini MPV built by the Italian manufacturer Fiat since 2004. Based on the Punto's frame, this vehicle shares all its engines and is noted for its versatile interior, which includes sliding and folding rear seats, for making the best usage out of a body under 4 metres in length. The Fiat Idea's height, narrow width, and narrow tracks, however, give it a high centre of gravity and poorer handling compared to its competitors, the Opel Meriva and Renault Modus.
Engines
All Fiat Idea engines are Euro 4 compliant. It features a 1.4L 16 valve 95bhp petrol engine, available in either a 5- or 6-speed gearbox, as well as a 1.3L 16 valve MultiJet Diesel unit with either 70bhp or 90bhp. Dualogic robotised manual gearbox is also an option.
Lancia Musa
The Lancia Musa is a rebadged version of the Fiat Idea, sold by Lancia. It shares almost all components and is differentiated by the brand's typical triangular chromed grille, deluxe trimmings, and extra kit. The Musa can be availed with only the most powerful engine options and the Dualogic gearbox.
