Fiat Stilo Multi Wagon Dynamic

The Fiat Stilo (Type 192) is a small family car that was available in three body styles: a 3-door hatchback, a 5-door hatchback, and an estate (Fiat Stilo MultiWagon). It first debuted at the Bologna Motor Show in November 2001, as the successor to the Fiat Bravo/Brava. The Stilo 5-door was kept in production until December 2010, when it was replaced by the Bravo in all markets. The Stilo was offered with a variety of engine types, ranging from a 1242cc DOHC 16 valve petrol unit producing 80 PS (59 kW; 79 hp) to a 170 PS (125 kW; 168 hp) 5-cylinder 2.4L petrol engine with Fiat's Selespeed 5 speed semi-automatic gearbox. Several diesel powertrains were also available ranging from 80 PS (59 kW; 79 hp) to 160 PS (118 kW; 158 hp). The Stilo's styling divided opinions, being deemed too plain and German-looking compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the car's heavy weight and suspension setup (a semi-independent rear torsion beam suspension like the Volkswagen Golf) received criticism for being less effective than the Bravo/Brava's fully independent rear suspension. The engine range was deemed too weak for its class, and it was noted for having average fuel efficiency. Similarly, the Selespeed gearbox received negative feedback for its slow reactions and lack of compatibility with the high-powered Abarth version. Nevertheless, the car had high levels of grip and effective brakes.
