Fiat Stilo Multi Wagon Dynamic

The Fiat Stilo (Type 192) is a small family car that has three different body styles - a 3-door hatchback, a 5-door hatchback, and an estate, labeled the Stilo MultiWagon. It was first unveiled in November 2001 at the Bologna Motor Show to succeed the Fiat Bravo/Brava. The Stilo MultiWagon came into production in 2002, and while the 3-door and 5-door were replaced in most markets by the Fiat Bravo, the Fiat 5-door Stilo continued to be sold in Brazil until December 2010. Under the hood, it was fitted with a 1.2L DOHC 16-valve engine capable of delivering 80 hp, a 1.6L engine capable of 103 hp, and a 1.8L engine pumping out 133 hp. It was also offered with a 2.4L 5-cylinder engine with 170 hp and Fiat's Selespeed 5-speed semi-automatic gearbox. The car was also available with diesel engines ranging from 80 hp to 150 hp. Design-wise, the Stilo did not receive much appreciation, with many saying it looked too dull and Germanic. It was also criticized for its excessive weight and semi-independent twist-beam rear suspension, which was seen to be a setback from its predecessor's fully-independent rear suspension. Although the 1.2L petrol engine was approved, it was considered to produce too little power. Additionally, the car was found to be too thirsty despite having very long gear ratios and the Selespeed gearbox coming under fire for its slow response. Nevertheless, some praised the Stilo for having good grip with its wide tires and strong brakes.
