Fiat Strada Malibu

The Fiat Strada Malibu is a supermini pickup truck version of the Fiat's "world car" project Palio. It is manufactured in Brazil and exported from Betim, Minas Gerais to other markets in the EU. The Strada has had three iterations since its launch in 1996. 1996 Mk.I Strada This was the original version of the Strada and was launched to replace the City, a pickup variant of the Fiorino which was based on the Fiat Uno. It had a maximum loading capacity of 700kg and a cargo-space measuring 1770 mm x 1314 mm. 2001 Mk.II Strada In 2001, the Strada received its first facelift, featuring a design created by the Italian design guru Giorgetto Giugiaro. It also had an extended cab version and the first version of the Strada Adventure, with offroad styling. 2004 Mk.III Strada This iteration of the Strada had a new design by Giorgetto Giugiaro, taken from the Palio. It also saw the launch of the second version of the Strada Adventure, with features from the Weekend Adventure. It was offered with a 1.9 JTD diesel engine.
