Fiat Turbina Concept 1954 posters

Fiat Turbina Concept

Fiat Turbina was a 1954 model of car produced by Italian manufacturer Fiat. It was designed as a sports car and was the first automotive house in Europe to introduce a gas turbine-powered car. The design and testing process for this model began in 1948 and was ultimately tested on the track of the Ingot on 14 October 1954. This car model featured a compressor with two stages, two turbines, one turbine engine, and a reducing group for the transmission to the wheels. Fiat advertised 300 cv to 22.000 turns per minute, and the estimated maximum speed was about 250 km/h. The propeller was completely removable. Today, the Fiat Turbina is housed in the Automobile Museum of Turin. This article is licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License. It uses material from Wikipedia.
