Ford Motor Company marked the introduction of the new 2013 Ford F-150 with the unveiling of the beloved pickup truck to the agricultural professionals and emerging leaders of tomorrow. Ford's President of The Americas, Mark Fields, spoke of the commitment to improving F-Series models with new capabilities and features.
The 2013 Ford F-150 boasts a redesigned front-end and cutting-edge technologies such as MyFord Touch® with voice-activated driver controls and the option of advanced high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps. Doug Scott, Ford Truck Group Marketing Manager and FFA Sponsor Board Member, noted that Ford pickups represent a cornerstone of many farm families and the F-150 is a continuation of that agricultural tradition.
America's pickup continues to stay ahead of the game with fuel-efficiency and capabilities. The 2013 model adds even more to the lineup, with the addition of the Limited luxury model, EcoBoost® engine, a 6.2-liter V8, electronic-locking rear axle and Hill Descent Control™.
