The 'FG' series marks the eighth generation of the iconic Falcon range, a legacy of the celebrated Fairmont and Ghia nameplates. This recognisable heritage is echoed in the new sports luxury G Series, comprised of the G6, G6E and G6E Turbo models, all featuring the high-tech six-cylinder engine. The G6 pays homage to the Ghia nameplate and is an extension of the G8 nomenclature used in the Fairlane range, while the G6E and G6E Turbo showcase European-influenced styling and superior performance with the introduction of the esteemed I6 Turbo engine.
The Falcon XT provides a level of interior refinement and safety features unmatched by other entry-level vehicles. Distinguished from the range by its own unique appearance, the XT is available with either an I6 195kW petrol engine, partnered with either a new five-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift (SSS) or a 156kW E-Gas dedicated LPG engine with the four-speed SSS auto. The I6 petrol engine also has an optional ZF six-speed automatic transmission available.
