Ford FG Falcon Ute XR6 Turbo
The all-new Ford FG Falcon Ute range introduces a model line-up and nomenclature that mirrors the all-new FG Falcon sedan, set to release in June 2008. According to Ford Australia President Bill Osborne, the Falcon Ute range promises to deliver "no compromise performance and functionality" that balances truck-like capability and car-like comfort, driveability, and safety. Each model offers a unique combination of working and recreational elements for customer needs. The range is part of the FG Falcon range which includes sedans and Ford Performance Vehicles.
The Styleside Box (SSB) of the Falcon Ute has been redesigned for the FG Falcon, bringing the cab and box closer together and mirroring the cab's contours for a more seamless look. Plus, its top lip is trimmed with powder-coated, black aluminium rails with fastening points for its flush-fitting soft tonneau cover and tie-down anchor points.
