The 'FG' series prefix for Falcon's eighth generation denotes the arrival of the all-new range with its rich heritage tracing back to the Fairmont and Ghia nameplates. This is reflected in the new sports luxury G Series sedan - the G6, G6E, and G6E Turbo models. The "G6" paying respect to "Ghia" and "6" to Falcon's six-cylinder engine, and the G6E using design cues from Europe. Stepping up to the G6E Turbo heralds the impressive I6 Turbo engine as its hero.

Ford FG Falcon XT

The Falcon XT introduces an array of interior features and safety enhancements to the entry-level segment both for private customers and fleet buyers. Powered by the 195kW/391Nm I6 petrol engine mated to a five-speed automatic SSS or the optional 156kW E-Gas dedicated LPG engine with a four-speed SSS auto, the XT stands out from the rest of the range. An optional ZF six-speed automatic transmission is available on the I6 petrol engine.
