Ford FG Falcon XR6 Turbo
The 'FG' series prefix for the eighth generation Falcon range marks the arrival of the all-new Falcon line-up, and is a tribute to the heritage of the long-standing Fairmont and Ghia nameplates. This tribute is reinforced with the introduction of the sports luxury G Series sedan with the G6, G6E and G6E Turbo models. The "6" in the G6 model is a representation of Falcon's six-cylinder engine. The G6E model embraces the "Ghia" nomenclature and displays European-influenced styling, whereas the G6E Turbo incorporates the powerful I6 Turbo engine as the new flagship.
Ford FG Falcon XT
The Falcon XT is designed to deliver heightened interior luxury and safety features and, for the first time on a Falcon, it distinguishes itself from the rest of the range with its unique appearance. It is available with a choice of either an I6 petrol engine generating 195kW of power and 391Nm of torque, or an optional 156kW E-Gas dedicated LPG engine. Both are mated to a five-speed auto gearbox with Sequential Sports Shift (SSS), while the I6 engine may be fitted with an optional ZF six-speed automatic transmission.
