Ford Fiesta Sedan
The Ford Fiesta, which will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2012, will revolutionize the small car market. It will feature a best-in-class fuel economy rating of at least 40 mpg, a bold new design, and technology and features that add to the pleasure of driving it.
"Customers want vehicles that both look good and get great fuel efficiency," said Ford president Mark Fields. "The Fiesta gives them the best of both worlds – it promises to bring an even higher level of performance and personalization to the subcompact market."
Fuel Efficiency and Fun
The new Ford Fiesta will feature a fuel-sipping 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, winner of the 2012 Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award and the 2012 Engine Technology International International Engine of the Year Award. Its fuel economy is expected to be over 40 mpg, making it the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid subcompact on the road. Plus, the engine is surprisingly powerful – at 123 horsepower per liter of displacement, it has more power than a Lamborghini Aventador (it boasts 108 horsepower per liter).
