Ford showed off its brand-new four-door Ford Fiesta Sedan at the 2008 Guangzhou Auto Show – fulfilling the daring promises of the Ford Verve Concept notchback unveiled last year. "The sparkling new Ford Fiesta Sedan has an exceptional look, and its four-door silhouette conveys a stylish independent identity with staying power, just like its five-door sibling." Ford is looking to bring the Fiesta Sedan into the Chinese market soon and production for the car will commence at Ford's brand-new, world-class manufacturing site in Nanjing. "This is another major piece in the jigsaw of our success in the small car arena and personifies the outstanding lure of Ford in China," commented Robert Graziano, president and CEO, Ford Motor China. "Style-conscious consumers here will recognize and be enchanted by the individualism, class and aspirations expressed in the car." Ford applies advanced technologies in the construction of the Ford Fiesta Sedan in China as identical to its European edition. Extensive implementation of high- and ultra high-strength steels fortifies the car's body which reduces weight and enhances fuel economy concurrently.
