Ford Focus CMax

The Ford Focus C-Max is a compact MPV created by Ford for the European market, first produced in 2003. It was the first car to utilize Ford's C1 platform, which was also featured in the Mk II Ford Focus released the following year. It shares many design features with the Premacy/Mazda5, as well as the Focus I and Focus II's control blade independent rear suspension. This MPV offers seating for five people, with plenty of cargo space that can be increased with folded backseats. Certain C-Max models boast diagonally sliding outer backseats, as well. Engine-wise, the available options for the Ford Focus C-Max include petrol variations such as 1.4 L and 1.6 L aluminium Duratec, the 1.6 L Duratec Ti-VCT and the 2.0 L Duratec, as well as diesel engines such as the PSA-developed Duratorq 100 hp and 110 hp 1.6 L, Ford's own Lynx Duratorq 1.8L 115 hp, and the PSA-designed 136 hp 2.0 L. To round off its MPV lineup, the Ford Focus CMax is the smallest of the large MPV family, consisting of the S-Max and Galaxy.
