Introducing the new Ford Focus ECOnetic for 2010 – a fuel-efficient model that takes the successful formula of its predecessors to new heights. Features such as Ford Auto-Start-Stop technology, Smart Regenerative Charging, Low Tension FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) are combined to deliver lower emissions and better fuel efficiency.
The Ford Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo and Transit ECOnetic models have already set a benchmark for low carbon motoring and high levels of fuel efficiency; the Ford Focus ECOnetic takes this to the next level, having premiered at the 2009 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. Ford Auto-Start-Stop technology was first featured in the Ford iosis MAX Concept vehicle back in 2009.
